MINUTES FROM THE CITY OF WAUTOMA MEETING OF THE REGULAR COMMON COUNCIL MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12th, 2024 6:00 p.m. Mayor Nixon called the regular meeting of the Regular City of Wautoma Common Council to order at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12th, 2024. Present: Mayor Nixon, Alderpersons Pat King, Eric Tratar, Bob Cayer, Steve Ryerson and Ryan Petersen Excused: Alderperson Grimm Prayer and Pledge took place. Alderperson Tratar motioned to approve minutes from the Regular Common Council meeting held on January 8 th, 2024 with corrections to the excused absence list, Finance and Personnel Committee held on January 8th, 2024, and the motion was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 5-0. Alderperson Ryerson motioned to approve the agenda with moving the Life Saving Award to the top of the items listed. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Tratar and carried 5-0. The Life Saving Award was presented by Chief Paul Mott to Officers Jackson and Wolff, along with the members of the Waushara County Emergency Management Services. Jeff Buchholz spoke regarding the attempt to reduce the speed limit by Bird Creek Park. Alderperson Cayer motioned to approve Resolution #2024-01 Petitioning the Secretary of Transportation for Airport Improvement Aid. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 5-0. Mr. Bohler presented his report to the council. Mayor Nixon presented his report to the council. Alderperson Cayer motioned to approve the payment of monthly vouchers, which was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 5-0. Alderperson King motioned to approve designated walking paths for REACH Waushara to carry out. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Tratar and carried 5-0. Alderperson Petersen motioned to adjourn, which was seconded by Alderperson Ryerson and carried 5-0.
