Special Common Council — Minutes

MINUTES FROM THE CITY OF WAUTOMA MEETING OF THE SPECIAL COMMON COUNCIL MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20th, 2023 6:00 p.m. Mayor Nixon called the special meeting of the Regular City of Wautoma Common Council to order at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20th, 2023. Present: Mayor Nixon, Alderpersons Patrick King, Eric Tratar, Ryan Petersen, Bob Cayer and Steve Ryerson Excused: Alderperson Grimm Prayer and Pledge took place. Alderperson Grimm moved to approve the minutes from the Regular Common Council meeting held on October 9 th, 2023, Regular Common Council meeting held on November 13th, 2023, Finance and Personnel Committee held on October 9th, 2023, and Finance and Personnel Committee held on November 13th, 2023. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Ryerson and carried 6-0. Mr. Bohler presented both the General Fund Budget Comparison and bank account report. Alderperson Ryerson motioned to approve the agenda with amended clerical error on agenda date. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Petersen and carried 6-0. Mayor Nixon opened the public hearing on the 2024 Proposed Operating Budget. There were no comments, and the hearing was closed Alderperson King motioned to approve Resolution #2023-09 to Adopt the 2024 Proposed Annual Operating Budget and Establish the Tax Levy Not to Exceed $1,183,996. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Grimm and carried unanimously through roll call vote. Mr. Bohler presented his report to the council. Mayor Nixon presented his report to the council. Alderperson Grimm moved to approve the payment of monthly vouchers. The motion was seconded by Alderperson Ryerson and carried 6-0. Alderperson Petersen motioned to adjourn, which was seconded by Alderperson Cayer and carried 6-0. The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m. Tommy Bohler Administrator/ Clerk/ Treasurer
