Government Center/Community Services Building. July 28, 2026 to August 7, 2026 – IN-PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. The Clerk will be conducting in-person absentee voting on weekdays at the Town Hall by appointment only for the August 11, 2026 Partisan Primary Election. Call (715) 556-5034 to schedule an appointment. An acceptable Photo ID is required to receive and vote an absentee ballot. An acceptable proof of residency document is required to register to vote. August 2, 2026 PUBLIC TEST OF VOTING EQUIPMENT – 9:00 a.m. A Public Test of the election voting equipment will be held on August 2, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Town Hall, E6591 627th Avenue, Menomonie, WI. This equipment will be used at the Partisan Primary Election on August 11, 2026. This Public Test is open to the general public. August 5, 2026 YARD WASTE DISPOSAL SITE – 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The town’s yard waste disposal site will be open. See further information on are website at https://redcedar.gov/recycling-garbage/. August 6, 2026 DUNN CO. PR&D MEETING – CSB - 8:30 a.m. A quorum of Town Board members and/or Planning Commission members may be present to gather information. August 11, 2026 PARTISAN PRIMARY ELECTION – 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Notice is hereby given that the Partisan Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Red Cedar Town Hall, E6591 627th Avenue, Menomonie, WI. Electors may vote for candidates in only one political party (Republican, Democratic, Constitution, Libertarian, or Wisconsin Green). Statewide races (Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and State Treasurer), Congressional races (Representative in Congress District 3), Legislative races (State Senator District 31 and Representative to the Assembly District 92), and County races (Sheriff and Clerk of the Circuit Court) are on the ballot. The polls will be open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. The number of provisional ballots will be posted at the town hall and on the town website on election night, as will the date, time, and location of the MBOC, if required. Absentee ballots will be processed at the polling place throughout the day. An acceptable PHOTO ID is required to receive a ballot. An acceptable PROOF OF RESIDENCY document is required to register to vote. For further information, visit www.bringit.wi.gov and www.elections.wi.gov. Our polling place is accessible to elderly and disabled voters. August 12, 2026, TOWN BOARD PACKETS – Town Hall - 4:00 p.m. The Town Board packets will be ready for pick up at the Town Hall and available to board members on Google Drive. August 17, 2026 – TOWN FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING - Town Hall – 5:15 p.m. The Finance Committee will meet to go over town financial documents and claims prior to the board meeting. August 17, 2026 TOWN BOARD MEETING – Town Hall – 6:00 p.m. The regular monthly town board meeting will take place. The full agenda will be posted online and on the town bulletin board at the town hall. August 18, 2026 TOWN PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING (TENTATIVE) – Town Hall – 6:00 p.m. The Town Planning Commission meeting will take place.
