06/08/2026 Agenda (06/01/2026) AMENDED Agenda - TOWN OF RED CEDAR The monthly Town Board meeting will be held at the Red Cedar Town Hall, E6591 627th Avenue, Menomonie, WI on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. All Agenda items may include discussion and possible action by the Town Board. 1. Call to order/roll call. 2. Minutes. Act on minutes of the prior meeting (May 11, 2026). 3. Public Comments (agenda items only). 4. Public Hearing. Consider comments on proposed amendments to the Town Land and Subdivision/Plat Ordinance (2017-2) to comply with law changes in 2025 Wisconsin Act 68 affecting local land division ordinances. 5. Financials: (a) Treasurer’s Report for previous month (checks written, monthly receipts, and cash summary sheet). (b) Current month’s claims and per diems. 6. Reports and Recommendations: (a) Patrolman. (b) Finance Committee (budget income and expenses to date) and solid waste/recycling. (c) Planning Commission. Recommendation to approve the statutory amendments to the Town of Red Cedar Land and Subdivision/Plat Ordinance. Next meeting June 16, 2026 (tentative). 7. Business: (a) Approve and issue alcohol licenses for a one-year period beginning on July 1, 2026 and ending on June 30, 2027 (b) Enact Resolution No. 2026-5 Amending Town Land and Subdivision/Plat Ordinance (2017-2). (c) Enact Ordinance No. 2026-6 Fire Limits and Fire Code. (d) Enact Resolution No. 2026-7 updating the Town’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). (e) Enact Resolution No. 2026-8 updating the Town’s Line of Succession for our EOP. (f) Appoint weed commissioner for a 1-year term (05/15/2026 to 05/14/2027). (g) Discussion on increasing town levy on an ongoing basis for EMS/fire or any and all projects. (h) Discussion on road abandonment in Eagle Point south of 650th Avenue. (i) Updates on proposed Urban Sewer Boundary Agreement with the City of Menomonie. (j) City of Menomonie and Town of Red Cedar border roads and snow plowing plans. (k) Updates on Park Rapids lot. (l) Website redesign and hosting. (m) Other town issues, matters, and concerns. 8. Communications: (a) Correspondence and announcements. (b) Upcoming agenda items. 9. Set Next Meeting Date.
