02/17/2026 Minutes PC (02/19/2026) MINUTES – Planning Commission Meeting ______________________________________________________________________________________ A Plan Commission meeting was held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Red Cedar Town Hall, E6591 627th Avenue, Menomonie, WI. 1. ROLL CALL/CALL TO ORDER. At 6:01 p.m., Planning Commission member Chad Haldeman called the meeting to order. Present were Tim Nelson, Greg Miller, and Bob Cook. The Secretary/Clerk, Cheryl Miller, was also present, as was one attendee. The Planning Commission Chairman, Leon Herrick, was absent. 2. MINUTES. Motion by Greg Miller to approve the minutes of the January 20, 2026 Planning Commission meeting; motion seconded by Tim Nelson. None opposed. MC 3. PUBLIC COMMENTS. None. 4. BUSINESS to consider and act on, including possible recommendations to the Town Board: (a) Meysembourg CSM to separate a 10.16-acre parcel off from the remainder of the property located at N4200 610th Street in the Northwest ¼ of the Northwest ¼ of Section 16, Township 27 North, Range 12 West, in Menomonie, WI. Surveyor, Sam Gartman, of RLS Surveying, appeared and provided information related to the CSM and the substandard width access easement which will be before the Dunn Co. PR&D Wednesday morning. Motion by Greg Miller to approve the CSM as presented; motion seconded by Tim Nelson. None opposed. MC. The Secretary/Clerk emailed the Dunn County Surveyor to inform him that the CSM was approved. (b) Boundary Agreement with Town of Spring Brook related to N3954 640th Street (Brumite, LLC d/b/a Whispering Emerald Ridge Game Farm). Information was provided related to the possible Boundary Agreement between the Town of Spring Brook and the Town of Red Cedar or the property at N3954 640th Street, which is currently in the Town of Spring Brook. (c) Updates to Town’s Comprehensive Plan, including adding information on solar and wind energy. This item was postponed. 5. ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS. None. 6. COMMUNICATIONS/ANNOUNCEMENTS. Bob Cook provided information on the proposed Urban Sewer Development Agreement with the City of Menomonie. 7. UPCOMING AGENDA ITEMS. Postponed items. 8. SET NEXT MEETING DATE: The next meeting was set for Wednesday, March 18th, at 6:00 p.m. 9. ADJOURN. At 7:21 p.m., the meeting was adjourned without objection.
