Town of Menomonie Plan Commission Meeting Minutes Thursday September 25, 2025 Location: Town Hall Time: 7:00 PM Scott called the meeting to order at 7 pm. Present: Tunde, Matt, Lamont, Lisa, Kent and Scott. Absent: Tom Minutes from the August 28 meeting were not available, approval tabled until next meeting. Public: None CSM-Howe Wieman-special exception: • Surveyor Steve Kochaver was present to explain the CSM • Owners Larry Wieman and Larry Howe agreed to move the lot line South between their existing lots to allow Ryan Howe to have a larger lot. • Both lots did not have existing green space. • The change fell under the special exception section 1.7 of the Town’s subdivision ordinance. • Tunde made a motion to approve the Wieman/Howe Special Exception CSM, Matt seconded the motion and the motion carried. Work on 2025 Comprehensive Plan. • The members reviewed the current comprehensive future land use map. • Using a blank laminated map provided by Josh from Cedar Corp o The members made some notes on possible updates to some areas for possible future growth areas of R2 area combinations with commercial development areas that currently exist in the Town’s comprehensive plan. o Those areas included areas around US12 currently zoned general commercial development adding R2. o CTHBB and STH 25 as adding R1 and R2. o STH29 currently GA adds GC, R1 and R2. Possible Format Changes to parts of the Comprehensive Plan. • Scott had received a copy of the changes combining Tunde’s ideas with Josh’s. Open Commission Discussion • Scott explained that the normal meeting days for November and December both fall on the Holidays, the meeting would likely be held on December 4 to replace the November and December normal meeting days. Next meeting date will be Thursday October 23 at 7pm Matt made a motion to adjourn the meeting, and Tunde seconded the motion and carried the motion. Adjourned at 8pm.
