MINUTES MANITOWOC COUNTY Extension Education and Agriculture Committee DATE: Thursday, December 18, 2025 TIME: 4:47 PLACE: Manitowoc County Office Complex, 4319 Expo Drive, Manitowoc, WI Committee Members: • Supervisor Ryan Phipps, Chair • Supervisor Lee Engelbrecht • Supervisor Tim Jadowski • Supervisor Scott Schiesl • Supervisor Larry Bonde 1. Meeting called to order at 4:45p.m. by Committee Chair Ryan Phipps 2. Roll call: Present: Supervisor Ryan Phipps, Supervisor Lee Engelbrecht, Supervisor Tim Jadowski, and Supervisor Scott Schiesl, Also present: UW Extension Health and Well Being Educator, Cath Tease; UW Extension Director, Jayna Hintz • Absent: None 3. Approval of Agenda. Motion made by Supervisor Larry Bonde and seconded by Supervisor Tim Jadowski to approve the December 18, 2025, agenda. 4. Public Comment: NONE 5. Approval of Minutes. Motion made by Supervisor Scott Schiesl and seconded by Supervisor Lee Engelbrecht to approve the Thursday, October 16, 2025, meeting minutes. 6. Correspondence – NONE 7. Program Highlight UW Extension-Manitowoc County Health and Well-being Educator, Cath Tease reported on work carried out in Manitowoc County with the recovery community supported by two ROTA grants. 8. UW Extension Department Director Report provided by Jayn Hintz, UW Extension Director. • An impact report highlighting educators’ work in Manitowoc County was provided. • Shared information about UW Extension- Manitowoc County Community Needs Forum being held on January 13th , from 1:00-3:00pm on the UWGB-Manitowoc Campus • Current Budget progress to date was discussed. Extension continues to stay within their budget. A breakdown of each educator’s budget was provided.
