MANITOWOC COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE Meeting Minutes DATE: September 9th 2026 TIME: 5pm PLACE: Communications & Technology Building 1024 S 9th St, Manitowoc, WI Committee members present: Chairperson Supervisor Chris Dallas, Supervisor Dylan Hammel, Supervisor Mike Grabow, Supervisor and Supervisor Chris McDonell Others in attendance: Supervisor Scott Schiesl, Supervisor James Lillibridge, Supervisor Andrew Schwerma, Executive Tyler Martell, Sheriff Dan Hartwig, Honorable Judge Dietz, Honorable Judge Lambrecht, Angela Linderud and Melissa Neilson Excused: Supervisor Heilman Call to order: Meeting called to order by Committee Chair Dallas at 5pm. Roll call circulated. Meeting minutes from August 12th, 2026, Chair Dallas asked if there were any changes or corrections to the minutes? No changes entered into record. Motion by Supervisor McDonell to approve 08-12 minutes. Seconded by Supervisor Grabow. Motion passed. Correspondence: a. Corrections confinement report was emailed to committee members prior to meeting. No changes entered into record. b. Monthly Financial Reports previously sent to supervisors, no changes entered into record Public Comment: Tom Denk Single Point Entry and Courts updates: Discussion regarding security at the courthouse. The Supreme Court Marshall completed a security assessment in July. Discussion will be revisited when the assessment results are returned. Honorable Judge Dietz gave a court update. Next meeting October 14th at 5pm Adjournment: Motion made to adjourn by Supervisor Grabow seconded by Supervisor McDonell. Meeting adjourned.
