PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Town of Grant November 27, 2018 6:30 pm PLEASE TAKE N OTICE that the Board of the Town of Grant, Portage County, Wisconsin, will be holding a public h earing on a proposed update to its Comprehensive Plan on November 27, 201 8 at 6:30 pm at the Grant Town Hall located at 9011 Country Road WW , Wisconsin Rapids, WI. The Town of Grant Plan Commission voted on September 25, 2018 to recommend the proposed amendments of the Town of Grant 2005 Comprehensive Plan to the Grant Town Board. Updates to the Plan include demographic, housing and socioeconomic information using the 2010 Decennial Census and 2010-2014 American Community Survey; updated information related to transportation, utilities and community facilities, agricultural and natural resources, economic development, intergovernmental cooperation, and land use ; and amendments to the Town’s Existing Land Use and Future Land Use maps. A copy of the proposed amendments is available for viewing prior to the public hearing at the Grant Town Hall, Portage County Planning and Zoning Office , as well as being posted on the Town of Grant website (http://www.townofgrantportageco.com/) and on the Portage County website(www.co.portage.wi.us).
