CLASS I NOTICE TOWN OF GRANT, Portage County The Town of Grant will receive proposals for road work until 6:00 pm, August 2, 2017. Proposals can be submitted to: Town of Grant, 9011 County Road WW, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494 1. 100th Street (south of CTH WW) – One (1) 18” x 44’ double-walled plastic pipe. Road is unpaved with low traffic (<100 cars/day). 2. 88th Street (south of CTH FF) - Remove pavement and suspected underlying tree debris, place subgrade that enables water movement, and prep for asphalt base 3. 90th Street (south of CTH W) – One 24” x 48’ double-walled plastic pipe. Road is paved with moderate traffic (100-250 cars/day). The proposals shall include but are not limited to: removal of existing culvert pipes, excavation and installation of new culvert pipes, construction and restoration of roadway embankments including ditching, erosion control, erosion mat, rip-rap, seeding, fertilizing, mulching, work zone traffic control and other relevant items warranted and documented based upon pre- proposal field review of each site. Base course, asphalt pavement, and shouldering are not included in this proposal request. Contractor shall adhere to the WDNR Technical Standards for Construction Site Erosion & Sediment Control Standards as follows: http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/stormwater/standards/const_standards.html Permit Exemption has been obtained by the Town of Grant. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any informality in bidding, or accept the proposals which serve the best interest of the Town.
