HERITAGE DAYS COMMITTEE SCHUSTER PARK 511 E. DIVISION STREET NEILLSVILLE, WI 54456 WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 2026 6:00 P.M. Meeting called to order by Chair Neville at 6:00 P.M. Roll Call: Joe Neville, Mike Winder, Dale Erickson, Jerry Pfeiffer, Katie Mohr, Donna Pavlac and Daryn Horn. Absent: Logan Grap, Barb Miller, Tom Opelt and Michelle Pickett. Motion Winder, second Pavlac to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as filed with the Clerk. All Aye. Financial Report: Erickson presented the financial report. Motion Horn, second Pavlac to approve the financial report as submitted. All Aye. Appearances: Dan Schroeder from Center Shot Archery discussed the setup at the park. Discussion and action on tent set up. Discussion followed, no action taken. Discussion and action on American Legion events times. Neville presented the times to be listed on the poster as follows: Friday: Fish Fry from 4:30 P.M.-7:30 P.M., Loyal Mini Rodders at 7:00 P.M.; Saturday: Chicken Dinner from 12:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M., Bean Bag Tourney registration at 12:30 P.M. and play starts at 1:00 P.M.; Sunday: Breakfast from 8:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. Motion Winder, second Erickson, to approve the American Legion event times as presented. All Aye. Discussion and action on closing Grand Avenue from W. Fifth Street to Division Street on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. for The Grand 5K. Motion Mohr, second Horn, to recommend and request that the City Council approve the closing of Grand Avenue Street from W. Fifth Street to Division Street on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. for The Grand 5K. All Aye. Discussion and action on posters. Winder presented the posters. Motion Erickson, second Pfeiffer to approve the posters as presented by Winder. All Aye. Next meeting: Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Schuster Park (weather permitting).
