December 2025 Minutes

TOWN OF MEENON REGULAR MEETING MINUTES MONDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2025 The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairman Sybers. Notice was posted in accordance with Wis. Stats 19.84 Open Meeting Law Motion by Strese to approve the agenda order, seconded by O’Brien, motion carried. The minutes of the November 17, 2025 meeting were presented for approval. Motion by Strese to approve the minutes, seconded by O’Brien, Motion carried. November 2025 Treasurer’s report was presented for approval. Motion by O’Brien, seconded Strese, motion carried. Public Comments: There were no constituents present. Motion by O’Brien, seconded by Strese, the following election judges were approved for the 2026-27 election seasons: Mary Wildes, Tanya Lindquist, Nancy Meindel, Sharon Fischer, Nancy Kolb, Larry Donovan, Linda Means and Sue Eytcheson. The website was discussed. The Clerk will work with North of Eight to see if items can be completed in the Clerk’s office instead of North of Eight. O’Brien indicated that he has spoken with the company that removes trees for us and they will take care of the trees that were discussed at the last meeting. Sybers discussed the truck problems that we have been having, they are fixed but there are still a few problems to be taken care of, parts have been ordered. Stumps at the old town hall are going to be removed at a cost of $500.00. Nathan took his test for his CDL but did not pass, will take it again this week. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 19, 2026. Motion by Strese to pay the bills, seconded by O’Brien, motion carried. Motion to adjourn at 7:19 p.m. by Strese, seconded by O’Brien, motion carried.
