Town of Nekimi Monthly Board Meeting August 18, 2014 Present: Glen Barthels, Larry Schweda, Tom Pollack, Jessica Potratz and Julie Barthels. The town board meeting was called to order by Chairman Barthels at 7:30 p.m. Schweda moved to approve the July minutes as presented. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3-0. Treasurer’s Report was presented. Zoning: A Certified Survey Map for Jim Thompson, Thistle Dairy, LLC for Parcels 012-0647-01 and 012-0653-01 was presented to the board. Pollack moved to approve the CSM as presented. 2nd by Schweda. Carried 3-0. Schweda moved to pay July bills. 2nd by Pollack. Carried 3-0. Old Business: Road Conditions – Discussed the road conditions around the Township including the shoulders on Poberezny Road, the pot holes on Waupun Road and the durability of Old Knapp Road. Aviation Park – There will be a ground breaking ceremony on September 4, 2014. Amending Protocol for Applying County Zoning Permits and Town Building Permits – The board asked the Clerk to e-mail our attorney for input regarding this issue and to add it to next month’s agenda. New Business: Winnebago County Solid Waste Municipality Recycling Surplus Revenue Ballot for 2013 Funds – Pollack moved to agree to the first option regarding 2013 funds which states Winnebago County shall maintain $112,265.00 of the surplus recycling revenue to avoid a 2013 County recycling deficit and rebate $77,384.00 to the Signing Municipalities based on the Municipality’s actual tonnage processed and sold for year 2013.
