PLYMOUTH PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING MINUTES April 6, 2026 Meeting was called to order by K. Murray at 6:30 pm. Present were: K. Murray, B. McKnight, M. Kaczkowski, S. Britt, S. Gloede, M. Hummitzsch, A. Matzdorf. and K. Kraemer. Absent were: None. Also present: Library Director L. Jochman There was a letter from S. Robb requesting that the library keep the copy machines as part of the renovation project as they are a lifesaver for her. Motion by S. Britt, second by S. Gloede to approve the minutes of the March 2, 2026. Motion passed unanimously. K. Kraemer joined the meeting. Motion by B. McKnight, second by M. Hummitzsch to approve the financial report for March 2026 Expenses. Motion passed unanimously. Director L. Jochman reviewed some highlighted items on the Director’s monthly report. This included an update on a roof leak, the elevator, and murals. Unfinished Business Director L. Jochman updated the board on the previous meeting with the ad hoc committee which took place on March 19. She presented the most recent renderings and reminded the board of the Open House on April 7. New Business Director. L. Jochman presented a revision of the naming rights policy from the previous meeting. Discussion centered around ensuring that the board had final approval over naming requests to ensure it aligns with the library’s standards. President K. Murray announced that she will be moving so the board will need a new member. The board brainstormed potential candidates. Announcements Director L. Jochman announced the next meeting for May 4.
