Property Committee — Minutes

Village of Kohler Property Committee Meeting March 9, 2026 Chairperson Michael Wandschneider called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken: Michael Wandschneider and Brett Edgerle were present. Kelly Kasten was absent. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow and Cindi Gamb. Public Comment – none. Approval of Meeting Minutes from January 8, 2026 – Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Mike Wandschneider to approve the meeting minutes from January 8, 2026. Motion carried. Business 1. Discuss and recommend action for non-metered sewer connection – Mike discovered that River Wildlife was allowed to connect to the sewer utility several years ago, but there was never a provision for billing. Options for billing: bill an equivalent to the average user fee charged to other users whose rates are based on water consumption; require a water meter be installed on the well that will measure the water consumption which can be used to bill for the unmetered sewer connection. Mike is going to research if a water meter can be installed on their well and report back to the committee next month for action. 2. Review and recommend updating fee schedule Table 2009-1 – discussed the proposed updates. A new fee was added for pool passes for Village residents. Other municipal swimming pools charge a fee for their residents to use the pool. Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Mike Wandschneider to recommend the updated fee schedule Table 2009-1 as presented with the non-resident pool passes at $150 for a family and $75 for a single.
