Staff have worked with a known developer to identify alternative approaches. The attached offer to purchase was received from Valido Homes. The developer is proposing the sale of the land for $1 in exchange for a guarantee that a 1,200 to 1,300 square foot two -bed, two-bath home would be constructed on the property tha t would have a two -car garage. Timeline to construct would be yet this year with the home expected to list a sale price of $320,000. This is an alternative approach to attempting to sell land at cost and guarantees that improved value is added to the lot. This will be a discussion item only with a vote to approve/deny at the June COW meeting. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: ATTACHMENTS: Offer to Purchase MOTION: Discussion Only
