TOWN OF LANARK PROCEEDINGS OF THE MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING Wednesday, May 27, 2026 The Lanark Town Board met at the Town Hall on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., Chairperson Mike Pagel, Supervisor Peggy Kane, Supervisor Bill McKee, Clerk Kim Beaudoin, Treasurer Theresa Maves, employee Jim Williams, and 3 residents. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson M Pagel. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. The minutes of the Town Board Meeting of April 8, 2026 were reviewed. Motion by B McKee seconded by P Kane and carried 3-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 2. Public Input: none 3. There were 0 building permits, electrical permits, no zoning permits, and no surveys to be reviewed. 4. There was 1 county violations and local violations to be discussed. 5. GCAC Report: David Wedde was not present. 6. Board discussed roadwork crack filling roads. Motion by M Pagel seconded by B McKee and carried 3-0-0 to approve up to $25,000 in cracking filling to be done on: Oakdale from TT to the Belmont border (filling dips forming under old cracks), Madley and Riley Roads, Clinton Road, Old Amish (a few dipped cracks). Morgan Road (special attention to lateral cracks near edge of the road). 7. Board discussed the cutting edges for the snowplows. Motion by B McKee seconded by P Kane and carried 3-0-0 to approve the purchase of $3500 of carbide cutting edges for the Western Star truck. 8. Board discussed paving the Durrant Road culvert project. Motion by M Pagel seconded by P Kane and carried 3-0-0 to approve the paving project for $17,180 with American Asphalt. 9. The April’s 2026 treasurer’s report was reviewed. There was $55,341.63 in checking. $591,293.80 in money market and $106,895.86 in the LGIP fund was reviewed and approved unanimous consent. 10. The check list Bank Account – 4/9/2026 – 5/27/2026 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 11. The Balance Sheet for April 2026 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 12. The 2026 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 13.
