TOWN OF LANARK PROCEEDINGS OF THE MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING Wednesday, February 11, 2026 The Lanark Town Board met at the Town Hall on Wednesday, February 11th at 7:00 p.m. Chairperson Mike Pagel, Supervisor Peggy Kane, Supervisor Bill McKee, Clerk Kim Beaudoin, Treasurer Theresa Maves, employee Jim Williams, and 4 residents. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson M. Pagel. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. The minutes of the Town Board Meeting of January 14, 2026 were reviewed. Motion by B McKee seconded by P Kane and carried 3-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 2. The minutes of the Special Town Board Meeting of January 15, 2026 were reviewed. Motion by P Kane seconded by B McKee and carried 3-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 3. Public Input: none 4. There were no building permits, no zoning permits, and 2 surveys to be reviewed. 5. The Board discussed the request by Jeremiah Parker of 8594 Old Amish Road Amherst, WI to split parcel address 10028 Oakdale Drive, Almond, WI, NW SW EX PRT LYG W OF HY T & EX E ½ S34 T22 R10-10 14.5 acres M/L 614224 906805913145 into 2 parcels, 1 parcel being 5 acres and 1 parcel being 9+ acres which is zoned A3. Motion by B McKee seconded by M Pagel and carried 3-0-0 to approve the land split. 6. The Board discussed the request by Michael Helbach of 9041 State Hwy 54, Amherst, WI, to combine parcels 022221029-06.02 NWNW EXC WHY ROW- DES 793127; INCL PRCL- 811321 S29 T22 R10-6 39.91A M/L 781859; 793447 HWY ESMT;811321. AT 9288 State Hwy 54, Amherst, WI currently zoned A1, 022221029-07 SW NW S29 T22 R10-7 40A 781859; 793447 HWYESMT 40A in Amherst, WI currently zoned A1, 022221029-08.02 SENW EX L1 CSM 32/24 S29 T22 R10-8.2 34A 676886PE; 781859 793447 HWYESMT 34A currently zoned A2, and 022221029-05 NE NW S29 T22 R10-5 40a 629275 SCOV;676886PE781859;823346- AGMT in Amherst, WI currently zoned A1. Combine the house at 9288 State Highway 54 with 022221029-06.02 and rezoning 022221029-08.02 from A2 to A1. Motion by M Pagel seconded by B McKee and carried 3-0-0 to approve. 7. There were no county violations and local violations to be discussed. 8. GCAC Report: David Wedde was present and gave report. 9. The board discussed the Portage County Wellhead Protection Ordinance. No action taken. 10. The board discussed the LED light program. M Pagel will look into it. 11. Road Work 2026. No action taken. 12. The board discussed the Web pricing. Motion by B McKee seconded by P Kane and carried 3-0-0 to approve the purchase from Town Web the 5- year contract for $1200 for website update. 13. The January’s 2026 treasurer’s report was reviewed. There was $47,616.43 in checking. $1,491,770.81 in money market and $105,940.18 in the LGIP fund was reviewed and approved unanimous consent. 14. The check list Bank Account – 12/11/2025 – 1/14/2026 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 15. The Balance Sheet for January 2026 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 16. The 2026 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 17. The 2026 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 18.
