Interested parties are encouraged to attend. All plan commission decisions are recommendations; the town board makes the final decision based on the recommendation. The Town of Fond du Lac Planning Commission will meet on Tuesday, July 28, at 6:00 pm in the Town Hall to discuss and recommend action on a special exception for accessory buildings in front and side yards and to begin discussing our 10-Year Comprehensive Plan Update. Roll call. 2. Approval of minutes from the previous meeting. Motion by Mike Guilfoile, second by Lisa McArthur. Motion carries 7-0. 3. Review and recommend action to the Town Board on the proposed ordinance to 13-1-6(c)(b) regarding a special exception to allow accessory building placement in front and side yards. a. It was discussed whether this is best served as a special exception or just adding it to the zoning code. Special exceptions can add additional conditions, if needed. b. It was discussed whether this should also apply to medium density residential, and the planning commission agreed that it should. c. Removed “Necessary” from the first heading before “Location.” d. The planning commission recommends the Town Board approve the proposed ordinance to 13-1-6(c)(b) regarding a special exception to allow accessory building placement in front and side yards. Motion by Lisa McArthur, second by Jess Allender, motion carries 6-0, 1 abstains (Scott Roltgen). 4. 10-Year Comprehensive Plan Update. a. Jess provides update 5. Future agenda items. a.
