TOWN OF FOND DU LAC FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WISCONSIN Notice of Special Closed Session PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Dempsey Law Firm, located at 10 Forest Avenue, Suite 200, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin 54935, the Town of Fond du Lac Town Board intends to convene into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(g) for the purpose of conferring with legal counsel for the Town who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the Town with respect to litigation in which the Town is or is likely to become involved; and pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. The purpose of the closed session is to mediate Fond du Lac County Case No. 23-CV-279. The Town Board reserves the right to reconvene into one or more open sessions as necessary to participate in joint portions of the mediation and to take final action on any resolution that is reached.
