PLAN COMMISSION MEETING Town of Lanark County of Portage, State of Wisconsin Thursday, February 5, 2026, 10:00 a.m. Lanark Town Hall 7174 County Road TT, Amherst, WI Posted: Town Website, Town Hall Published: No The Lanark Town Plan Commission met at the Lanark Town Hall on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Plan Commission Chairperson alternate Tom McDougall, Plan Commission Members, Ida Frizzell, Gene Peterson, Tom McDougall, & Darrie Nelson, Secretary Kim Beaudoin, were present as well as 1 residents. The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Alternate Chairperson Thomas McDougall. BUSINESS Discussion and possible action on: 1. The commission discussed the minutes of January 8, 2026. Motion by I Frizell seconded by G Peterson to approve the minutes carried 4-0-0. 2. Commission discussed the request by Michael Helbach of 9041 State Hwy 54, Amherst, WI, to combine parcels 022221029-06.02 NWNW EXC WHY ROW- DES 793127; INCL PRCL-811321 S29 T22 R10-6 39.91A M/L 781859; 793447 HWY ESMT;811321. AT 9288 State Hwy 54, Amherst, WI currently zoned A1, 022221029-07 SW NW S29 T22 R10-7 40A 781859; 793447 HWYESMT 40A in Amherst, WI currently zoned A1, 022221029-08.02 SENW EX L1 CSM 32/24 S29 T22 R10-8.2 34A 676886PE; 781859 793447 HWYESMT 34A currently zoned A2, and 022221029-05 NE NW S29 T22 R10-5 40a 629275 SCOV;676886PE781859;823346-AGMT in Amherst, WI currently zoned A1. Motion by I Frizell seconded by G Peterson to approve the new plan combining the house with 022221029-06.02 and rezoning 022221029-08.02 from A2 to A1 carried 4-0-0. 3. Commission discussed request by Jeremiah Parker of 8594 Old Amish Road Amherst, WI to split parcel address 10028 Oakdale Drive, Almond, WI, NW SW EX PRT LYG W OF HY T & EX E ½ S34 T22 R10-10 14.5 acres M/L 614224 906805913145 into 3 parcels, 2 parcels being 5 acres and 1 parcel being 4.19 acres which is zoned A3. Motion by I Frizzell seconded by G Peterson to not approve the split. 4.
