Johnsburg Sanitary District 8-6-2026 minutes

JOHNSBURG SANITARY DISTRICT MONTHLY COMMISSION MEETING AUGUST 6, 2026 5:00 P.M. ST JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH OFFICE, JOHNSBURG Members present: Commissioners Ken Schneider and Jason Meyer. Also pres ent: Recording Secretary Brenda Schneider. Excused: President Franz Schmitz. 1. Call to order. Commissioner Schneider the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. 2. Approval of the minutes of the 7/9/2026 meeting. Motion by Jason Meyer, second by Ken Schneider, to approve the minutes of the meeting held on July 9, 2026. Motion carried (2-0). 3. Discussion and possible action regarding operational issues: a. Meter station. Nothing to report at this time. b. Lift Stations. The July pump runtime reports were reviewed. Both lift stations were cleaned yesterday. c. Grinder pump stations. Last month an invoice was received for a new fabricated stainless steel wet well cover at the Mike Steffes property. Ken Schneider informed the Commission that he authorized the repair. d. Other operational issues. Nothing to report at this time. 4. Approval of District bills. Motion by Jason Meyer, second by Ken Schneider, to approve the bills (order #42-48), for a total of $4,125.29, and to authorize the following: x Transfer $4,200.00 from the Operations/User Charge Account to the regular checking account. Motion carried (2-0). 6. Schedule the next meeting. The next monthly meetin g of the Commission is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, September 3rd, at 5:00 pm, at St. John the Baptist Parish Office. The Annual Meeting of the Outlying Sewer Gr oup (OSG) will be conducted on September 17th. 7. Adjournment.
