Regular Board Meeting — Minutes

TOWN of BELVIDERE REGULAR MEETING April 21, 2026, 7:25 PM Cochrane VFW Post 10406 Chairman Ron Speltz called the Regular Town meeting to order at 7:25 pm. following the 2026 Annual Meeting. All Board members present and eight residents. The meeting notice was noticed in the Buffalo County News and the full agenda posted per WI Statutes 19.84 on Thursday, April 16th. MINUTES-A Motion by Supervisor Scott Rolbiecki was made to approve the Minutes as provided to board members in lieu of reading aloud. Supervisor Lee Engfer seconded the motion. Carried. TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer Barbara Brommer presented the Treasurer’s report and Investment Summary. Balance on hand as of tonight is $394,973.07 in the General Checking Account with one outstanding check. Scott made a Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented and Lee seconded the motion. Motion carried. BILLS-The Clerk presented the bills for payment. Lee made a Motion to pay the bills as presented and Scott seconded. Motion carried. Lee elaborated on the March 15th snow event. The town has applied with Buffalo County Emergency Management for the State of Wisconsin Disaster Relief Fund If approved the Town could receive 70% of the costs for snow plowing on March 15th & 16th. It was noted that Roger Sendelbach did an exceptional job getting the roads back open. ROADS: Chairman Speltz is stated the spring road grading has commenced. The boat dock has been installed at the Belvidere Boat Landing. Buffalo County is hoping to finalize the updated Land Use Plan soon. After completed the Town can start updating our Land Use Plan. The survey submitted today for Maplewood Lane was reviewed. The Board noted that an adequate turn-around needs to be part of the survey and the Zoning Department also needs to review & approve. It will be on the May meeting agenda to review and take any necessary action if completed and revised. The next Regular Board Meeting will be on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 7 PM following the 2026 Board of Review scheduled from 5 pm - 7 pm at the Cochrane VFW Post 10406.
