Regular Board Meeting — Minutes

TOWN of BELVIDERE REGULAR MEETING February 10, 2026, 7:00 PM Cochrane VFW Post 10406 Chairman Ron Speltz called the Regular Town meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Board members present: Chairman Speltz and Supervisor Rolbiecki. Supervisor Engfer is absent. Three residents were present. The meeting notice was noticed in the Buffalo County News and the full agenda posted per WI Statutes 19.84 on Thursday, February 5, 2026. On February 6, 2026, the agenda was amended to Add: Discuss and Act on Rohrer Lane Driveway application-Fluekiger. MINUTES-A Motion by Supervisor Rolbiecki was made to approve the Minutes as provided to board members in lieu of reading aloud. Chairman Ron Speltz seconded the motion. Carried. TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer Barbara Brommer presented the Treasurer’s report and Investment Summary. Balance on hand as of tonight is $335,011.52 in the General Checking Account with two outstanding checks. Barb noted that CDs will be renewed this month with the best annual/6-month rates at each Bank. Scott made a Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented and Ron seconded the motion. Motion carried. BILLS-The Clerk presented the bills for payment. Scott made a Motion to pay the bills as presented and Ron seconded. Motion carried. Driveway Application-Fluekiger on Rohrer Lane: Ron inspected the road and property for the planned new cabin. After discussion Scott made a motion to approve with Ron seconding. Motion carried. Permit will be mailed upon payment of application fee. ROADS: Chairman Speltz is completing the 2026 Road Bid notice for advertising. Bids will be opened at 7 pm on March 10th prior to the Regular Meeting. No action will be needed on Maplewood Lane until all Zoning regulations are finalized. A Variance may be required. Resident Brownell asked about the CTH OO road project with the planned bike trail in 2029. An Information meeting is scheduled for 5:30 pm, Wednesday, February 11th at the C-FC School. The next Regular Board Meeting will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. The 2025 WTA District training meeting will be on Friday, March 6th at the Onalaska location. After no further public comment, at 7:34 pm, Scott made a motion to adjourn the Meeting with Ron seconding. Motion carried. The 2025 Financial Audit was completed by the Board Members after the meeting. All financial accounts were certified correctly and in order by the Board.
