Regular Board Meeting — Minutes

TOWN of BELVIDERE REGULAR MEETING January 13, 2026, 7:00 PM Cochrane VFW Post 10406 Chairman Ron Speltz called the Regular Town meeting to order at 7:00 pm. All Board members present (Lee Engfer by phone) and one visitor. The meeting notice was noticed in the Buffalo County News and the full agenda posted per WI Statutes 19.84 on Thursday, January 8, 2026 MINUTES-A Motion by Supervisor Lee Engfer was made to approve the Minutes as provided to board members in lieu of reading aloud. Supervisor Scott Rolbiecki 2nd the motion. Carried. TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer Barbara Brommer presented the Treasurer’s report and Investment Summary. Balance on hand as of tonight is $364,116.08 in the General Checking Account. Barb noted that CDs will need renewal in February. Scott made a Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as presented and Lee 2nd the motion. Motion carried. BILLS-The Clerk presented the bills for payment. Lee made a Motion to pay the bills as presented and Scott 2nd. Motion carried. ROADS: Chairman Speltz noted that lots of sand was needed with the snowy/icy December. Sendelbach will complete brushing yet this winter on Schlawin, Indian Point, Rose Valley roads as weather permits. Ron will also work on 2026 Bid Notice for publication. Resident Ben Schams stated he is still working with Buffalo County Zoning concerning Maplewood Lane. More information is needed before any Board action. The next Regular Board Meeting will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The WTA quarterly meeting will be held on Monday, January 19th at the Buffalo County Courthouse.
