Regular Board Meeting — Minutes

TOWN of BELVIDERE REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 11, 2025, 7:06 PM Cochrane VFW Post 10406 At 7:06 PM, Chairman Ron Speltz called the Regular Town meeting to order. All members in attendance and two residents. The meeting notice was noticed in the Buffalo County News and the full agenda posted per WI Statutes 19.84 on Thursday, February 6, 2025. MINUTES: A Motion by Supervisor Ron Kazmierczak was made to approve the Minutes as provided to board members in lieu of reading out loud. Supervisor Lee Engfer seconded the motion. Carried. Treasurer Barbara Brommer gave the Treasurer’s report and Investment Summary. Balance on hand as of tonight is $124,717.42 in the General Checking Account. Barb noted the FD & Cemetery CDs will be renewing soon. It appears the Bank of Alma has the best rate for 1 yr and will process when eligible. Lee made a Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read. Ron Kaz seconded. Motion carried. The Clerk presented the bills for payment. A motion was made by Lee and seconded by Ron Kaz to pay the bills as presented. Motion carried. ROADS: Chairman Speltz reported that he is working on updating the 3-YR Road plan. Winter weather (lack of snow) has caused more blacktop cracking and frost is deep. 2025 Road bans were discussed. Resident Schams reports that he tries to have loads of feed delivered in the early morning and early manure hauling. Lee reported that Buffalo County is reviewing the spring weather this week and anticipating Road Bans going on early in March. Resident Baker commented that Sendelbach is doing a great job with sanding the roads this winter. His work is appreciated. Lee reported that the tree removal issue at Spring Lake Boat Landing has been resolved. The next regular scheduled meeting is on March 11, 2025. All Board members are registered for the WTA training meeting on March 14th in Onalaska. At 7:20 pm Ron Kaz made a motion to adjourn with Lee seconding. Motion carried.
