Regular Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of Belvidere REGULAR MEETING MARCH 12, 2024, 7:00 PM Cochrane VFW Post 10406 Chairman Ron Speltz called the Regular Town meeting to order. All Board members present and no residents. The meeting notice was published in the Buffalo County News and the full agenda posted per WI Statutes 19.84 on Friday, March 8, 2024. A Motion was made by Supervisor Ron Kazmierczak to approve the Minutes as provided to board members in lieu of reading out loud. Supervisor Lee Engfer seconded the motion. Carried. Treasurer Barbara Brommer gave the Treasurer’s report and Investment Summary. Balance on hand as of tonight is $165,279.83 in the General Checking Account with no outstanding checks. Ron Kaz made a Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as read. Lee seconded the Motion. Carried. The Clerk presented the bills for payment. A motion was made by Lee and seconded by Ron Kaz to pay the bills as presented. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: The Board reviewed the Driveway Permit application received with fee paid by Jared Cyrus. Chairman Speltz inspected and recommended that no culvert was needed. Ron Speltz made a Motion to approve with Lee seconding. Motion carried. ROADS: The Board reviewed the 3-year Road Plan to present at the Annual Meeting. Discussion held on Culvert Inventory Report. Motion made by Ron Kaz to complete the Inventory Report by the Board. Ron Speltz seconded. Motion carried. The Clerk will submit the signed requested decision to WTA & Buffalo County Highway Dept. Lee plans to present an update at the Annual Meeting about the status of the Land Comprehensive Plan revision with Buffalo County Zoning. Ron Speltz reported that the boat dock was installed today at the Belvidere Landing. The next regular scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, April 16, 2024 following the 7 pm Annual Meeting. The Quarterly WTA meeting will be Monday, April 15th at Alma. The Clerk discussed the upcoming joint Election Worker Training meeting and April 2nd Election.
