August 4, 2026 SERVICES COMMITTEE 9:00 a.m. Chairperson Loren Mueller called the meeting to order at City Hall 314 N. Main St. with the following members present: Gary Jepsen and David Earney. Also present: Mayor Champeny via Zoom, Foreman Joe Wick, Ken Passow-Code Enforcement Officer, Officer Luke Lawton, Tom Brakke, Ben Schams, Sherri Collins Friends of Alma Cemeteries, Josh Collins, and Clerk-Treasurer Sharaya Reed. Agenda Item 1: Cemetery Sherri Collins gave an update on what has been happening in the Friends of Alma Cemeteries group. Agenda Item 2: Police Officer Luke Lawton gave an update on what he has been responding to the past month. There was discussion about Flock cameras and how they worked. Agenda Item 4: Property concerns The Marty and Featherston properties were discussed. The committee does not want to meet on a weekend with Marty. He needs to make his schedule work or have someone present for him. Motion by Earney seconded by Jepsen to adjourn. All members voting yes.
