Finance Minutes 05/11/2026

May 11, 2026 FINANCE/TAX & LICENSE/ZONING COMMITTEE 10:30 a.m. Chairperson Gary Jepsen called the meeting to order at City Hall 314 N Main St, with the following members present: Larry Grisen and Perry Iberg. Also present: Mayor Richard Champeny, Clerk-Treasurer Sharaya Reed and Foreman Joe Wick. Citizens present: Orlyn Hoksch, John Henn and Hailey Henn. Agenda Item 5: Summer Help for City Crew. Two applications were received and reviewed by the committee. Both applicants will be contacted for an interview with the Foreman and Iberg. Agenda Item 1: Building permit applications. John Henn submitted a building permit application to install a new ½ bath in the pre permitted building permit. Discussion was held by the committee. Motion by Grisen seconded by Iberg to approve John Henn’s building permit application as presented. All members voting yes. Agenda Item 2: Building permit violations. None. Agenda Item 3: Operator Licenses. None. Agenda Item 4: Library Matters. Market & Johnson Pay Request #8 Motion by Iberg seconded by Grisen to approve the Market & Johnson Pay Request #8 for $214,499.28. All members voting yes by roll call vote. Jepsen provided information on change order requests for April for the library. April 2026 receipts and checks were looked over. Motion by Grisen seconded by Iberg to adjourn. All members voting yes.
