TOWN OF LANARK PROCEEDINGS OF THE MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING Wednesday, May 14, 2025 The Lanark Town Board met at the Town Hall on Wednesday, May 14th at 7:00 p.m. Chairperson Mike Pagel, Supervisor Peggy Kane, Clerk Kim Beaudoin, Treasurer Theresa Maves, employee Jim Williams, and 2 residents. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson M. Pagel. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. The minutes of the Town Board Meeting of April 9, 2025 were reviewed. Motion by P Kane seconded by M Pagel and carried 2-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 2. The minutes of the Special Town Board Meeting of April 15, 2025 were reviewed. Motion by P Kane seconded by M Pagel and carried 2-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 3. Public Input: none 4. There were 2 permits, and 0 survey to be reviewed. 5. County 0 violations none. 6. GCAC Report: John Droske not present, no report. 7. Auctioning off old tar kettle crack filling equipment and sander. No action taken. 8. The board discussed the hiring of part-time employee for highway work, Cheryl Leatherman. Motion by M Pagel seconded P Kane carried 2-0-0 vote to hire Cheryl Leatherman for on call part-time highway work. 9. The board discussed pulverizing and re-using material to re-lay on Floistad Road. Motion by M Pagel seconded P Kane carried 2-0-0 vote to use American Asphalt to do work. 10. The board discussed pulverizing, grating and re-using material to re-lay on Damrau Road. Motion by M Pagel seconded P Kane carried 2-0-0 vote to use American Asphalt to do work. 11. The board discussed the abandonment of Oak Hills East (undeveloped town road). No action taken. 12. The March’s 2025 treasurer’s report was reviewed. There was $ 32,260.65 in checking. $496,998.68 in money market and $73,555.99 in the LGIP fund was reviewed and approved unanimous consent. 13. The check list Bank Account – 4/9/2025 –5/14/2025 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 14. The Balance Sheet for April 2025 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 15. The 2025 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 16.
