TOWN OF LANARK PROCEEDINGS OF THE MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING Wednesday, April 9, 2025 The Lanark Town Board met at the Town Hall on Wednesday, April 9th at 7:00 p.m. Chairperson Mike Pagel, Supervisor E Garms, Supervisor Bill McKee, Clerk Kim Beaudoin, Treasurer Theresa Maves, employee Jim Williams, Deputy Clerk Cheryl Leatherman, 2 contractors, and 2 residents. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson M. Pagel. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. The minutes of the Town Board Meeting of March 12, 2025 were reviewed. Motion by B McKee seconded by E Garms and carried 3-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 2. Public Input: none 3. Opened bids from MCC for a total of $174,720.45 and American Asphalt for a total of $109,052.20 and reviewed bids for the Pipe Road LRIP Project. Motion by B McKee seconded by E Garms and carried 3-0-0 to award the contract to the low bidder, American Asphalt 4. There were 2 permits, 1 split, and 1 survey to be reviewed. 5. County violations none, recycling violations several. 6. GCAC Report: John Droske not present, no report. 7. The board discussed the approved plan commission request by Steve and Sandy Boehm of 9916 Oakdale Dr, Almond, to split 10 acres of 022-22-1033.16.04 30 acres location SESE EXC Lot 1 CSM# 8766-35-146 S33 T22 R10-16-.04 30a M/L 577/101-LC;614/16; 704/496; 704/497; 671437 MFL -30A 665444; 696872 Almond, currently zoned RL. Motioned by B McKee seconded by E Garms and carried 3-0-0 to approve the land split of 10 acres. 8. The board discussed the emergency management report. No action was taken. 9. The board discussed the Hazard Mitigation Plan. No action was taken. 10. The board discussed the purchase of a steel structure for a salt/sand shed. Motion by B McKee seconded by E Garms and carried 3-0-0 to purchase the steel structure and construct for $10,000. 11. The board discussed the Road Work 2025. No action was taken. 12. The March’s 2025 treasurer’s report was reviewed. There was $ 5,228.18 in checking. $544,990.89 in money market and $73,291.60 in the LGIP fund was reviewed and approved unanimous consent. 13. The check list Bank Account – 3/12/2025 –4/9/2025 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 14. The Balance Sheet for March 2025 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 15. The 2024 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 16.
