R E S O L U T I O N N O.: 62—2023-24 TO THE HONORABLE, THE OUTAGAMIE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: 2/3 MAJORITY – 24 VOTES The Appleton International Airport (the Airport) and Gulfstream Aerospace Services 1 Corporation desire to incorporate a Seventh Addendum to the South Hangar Premises 2 Agreement. This Addendum extends the term of the Agreement through August 31, 2027 3 with four (4) additional one (1) year options. The Addendum also includes construction of 4 additional on-site parking at the premises (“Parking Improvements”). The Parking 5 Improvements are estimated to cost approximately $273,000. The Airport will fund 6 $138,000 of the improvements and Gulfstream will fund $135,000 of the improvements to 7 be paid back over the term commencing September 1, 2023 and expiring August 31, 2027 8 at four percent (4%) interest. Monthly rent related to the improvements will be $3,048.17. 9 A budget adjustment is being requested for the period from September 1, 2023 to December 10 31, 2023 to increase the rent from Gulfstream. No budget adjustment related to the cost of 11 the improvements is needed as it was already included in the 2023 budget. 12 13 NOW THEREFORE, the undersigned members of the Property, Airport, Recreation and 14 Economic Development Committee recommend adoption of the following resolution. 15 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Outagamie County Board of Supervisors does approve the Seventh 16 Addendum to Lease Agreement between the Appleton International Airport and Gulfstream Aerospace 17 Services Corporation in order to extend the terms of the contract and construct additional on-site parking 18 at the premises, as noted on the attached Seventh Addendum to Lease Agreement which by reference is 19 made a part hereof, and 20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Outagamie County Board of Supervisors does authorize 21 and approve increasing the Airport Rental Properties Gulfstream South Hangar line item by $12,193 and 22 decreasing the Airport Terminal Fund Balance Applied line item by $12,193 as noted on the attached 23 fiscal note which by reference is made a part hereof, and 24 BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Outagamie County Clerk be directed to forward a copy of 25 this resolution to the Outagamie County Finance Director and the Appleton International Airport Director. 26 Dated this day of October 2023 27 28 29 Resolution No. 62—2023-24 Page 2 1 2 Respectfully submitted, 3 4 PROPERTY, AIRPORT, RECREATION & 5 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE 6 7 8 9 10 Dean Culbertson Lee W.
