R E S O L U T I O N N O.: 111—2023-24 TO THE HONORABLE, THE OUTAGAMIE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: MAJORITY Outagamie County is interested in maintaining, acquiring, developing, and ensuring a program 1 of snowmobile trails for public outdoor recreation purposes which are eligible for funds under 2 Wis. Stats. §23.09(26). 3 4 NOW THEREFORE, the undersigned members of the Property, Airport, Recreation and 5 Economic Development Committee recommend adoption of the following resolution. 6 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Outagamie County Board of Supervisors is desirous of making 7 application for State aid for the purpose of maintaining, acquiring, developing, and ensuring a program of 8 snowmobile trails for public recreational use, and 9 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Outagamie County Board of Supervisors does hereby 10 authorize and approve the Outagamie County Parks Director and/or Program/Office Manager to act on 11 behalf of Outagamie County by submitting an application to the Wisconsin Department of Natural 12 Resources for any financial aid that may be available, sign documents, and take any necessary action to 13 undertake, direct and complete approved projects, and 14 BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED, that Outagamie County will meet the financial obligation 15 of accepted grants, and 16 BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Outagamie County Clerk be directed to forward a copy of 17 this resolution to the Outagamie County Executive and the Outagamie County Parks Director. 18 Dated this day of March 2024. 19 20 21 22 23 Resolution No. 111—2023-24 Page 2 1 2 Respectfully submitted, 3 4 PROPERTY, AIRPORT, RECREATION & 5 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE 6 7 8 9 10 Dean Culbertson Lee W.
