CROSSING AND CULVERT REPLACEMENT POLICY  Culverts damaged as a result of overloading, or inadequate cover over pipe are the responsibility of the landowner to repair/replace.  Drive through crossings or culverts that have deteriorated due to natural weathering and regular use will be replaced with 100% of cost being covered through the District.  Whenever practicable, culverts will be replaced by drive-through crossings to minimize long-term maintenance costs  Each crossing requested to be replaced or added will be individually inspected by a Board representative in order for the Board to determine the property course of action.  Property owners are encouraged to attend monthly Drainage Board meetings to present their requests to the entire Drainage Board.
