TOWN OF LANARK PROCEEDINGS OF THE MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING Wednesday, January 15, 2025 The Lanark Town Board met at the Town Hall on Wednesday, January 15h at 7:00 p.m. Chairperson Mike Pagel, Supervisor E Garms, Supervisor Bill McKee, Clerk Kim Beaudoin, Treasurer Theresa Maves, employee Jim Williams, and 6 residents. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson M. Pagel. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. The minutes of the Town Board Meeting of December 11, 2024 were reviewed. Motion by B McKee seconded by E Garms and carried 3-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 2. The minutes of the Special Board Meeting of December 19, 2024 were reviewed. Motion by B McKee seconded by M Pagel and carried 3-0-0 to approve the minutes as written 3. Public Input: Pat Rock went over fire calls for the year. 4. There were no building permits, no zoning permits, and 1 survey to be reviewed. a. Board discussed the request by Timothy Lee Eddy, 5630 Morgan Road, Amherst to divide 022-22-1003-10.01 all of lot 1 of Portage County certified survey map no. 6336, located in the NE ¼ SW ¼ of Section 3, Township 22 North, Range 10 East, into 2 parcels Lot 1 being 14.122 acres and Lot 2 being 10.001 acres zoned A2. Motion by B McKee seconded by E Garms and carried 3-0-0 to approve the land division. 5. There were no county violations and local violations to be discussed. 6. GCAC Report: John Droske was present. 7. The board discussed Bike/Pedestrian survey from Portage County. The board recommended the plan commission review it. 8. The board discussed the Wisconsin Town Association district meeting and workshop. M Pagel and B McKee going to meeting and township is paying for it. 9. The board discussed wages of Cheryl Leatherman and Bobby Dahms. Motion by B McKee seconded by M Pagel and carried 3-0-0 to approve Cheryl Leatherman wage being $25/hr deputy clerk wage. Motion by B McKee seconded by M Pagel and carried 3-0-0 to approve Bobby Dahm wage to $22/hr. 10. The October’s 2024 treasurer’s report was reviewed. There was $17,875.34 in checking. $1,392,676.80 in money market and $42,550.09 in the LGIP fund was reviewed and approved unanimous consent. 11. The check list Bank Account – 12/12/2024 – 1/15/2025 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 12. The Balance Sheet for December 2024 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 13. The board discussed the budget adjustments. Motion by M Pagel seconded by E Garms and carried 3-0-0 to approve adjustments. 14. The 2024 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 15. The changes to 2024 Budget were reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 16.
