Planning Commission Meeting — Minutes

VILLAGE OF FOOTVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING THURSDAY, APRIL 9, 2026 MINUTES 1. The April 9, 2026, meeting of the Village of Footville Planning Commission was called to order at 6:03 pm by Chairperson Sandy Baertschi. 2. Committee members present: Sandy Baertschi, Nathaniel Franc is, Joe Schwengels and John Thomson. 3. Building permit application for 1 48 Railroad Street: The building permit that has been submitted for 148 Railroad Street was discussed. Information included on the permit indicates the new space will be used for casting concrete statuary. The current zoning of the property is C -1 which does not allow for the manufacturing of products. The property will need to be rezoned to I -1, and the Conditional Use Permit will need to be amended to reflect this change in usage . The property owner will be contacted with this information. 4. DISCUSSION ON OTHER MATTERS NOT PROPOSED FOR ACTION : None 5. SET DATE OF NEXT MEETING: The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 6:000 pm. 6.
