TOWN OF LANARK PROCEEDINGS OF THE MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING Wednesday, November 13, 2024 The Lanark Town Board met at the Town Hall on Wednesday, November 13th at 7:00 p.m. Chairperson Mike Pagel, Supervisor E Garms, Supervisor Bill McKee (7:08 p.m.), Clerk Kim Beaudoin, Treasurer Theresa Maves, employee Jim Williams, Surveyor Aaron Parks and 4 residents. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson M. Pagel. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. The minutes of the Town Board Meeting of October 7, 2024 were reviewed. Motion by M Pagel seconded by E Garms and carried 2-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 2. Public Input: 3. There were no building permits, zoning permits and 1 survey from plan commission. a. Board approved the land combination request by Michael Laskowski 6429 County Road A, Amherst to join 022-22-1017-01.02, 7.65acres RL, 022-22-1017-01.03, 3.5 acres A3, 022-22-1017-04.05, 33.77acres RL, 022-22-1017-02.02, 20 acres RL, 022- 22-1017-03.01, 21 acres RL & CON parcels at 6330 County Road A, Amherst, Wisconsin. Motion by M Pagel seconded by E Garms and carried 2-0-0 to approve land combination. 4. There were no county violations and local violations to be discussed. 5. GCAC Report: John Droske was present, spoke of the water testing. 6. The board discussed the charges for the waste in recycling stream. No action was taken. 7. The board discussed the cemetery plot fees. No action was taken. 8. The board discussed the carport for salt/sand. Tabled, need to research pricing on it. 9. The board discussed street signs. No action taken. 10. The board discussed the purchase of sander hydraulic motor for Kenworth plow truck. Motion by E Garms seconded by B McKee carried a 3-0-0 vote to purchase the motor. 11. The board discussed the completion of Otto/Morgan Road work. 12. The October’s 2024 treasurer’s report was reviewed. There was $34,102.61 in checking. $286,245.43 in money market and $42,221.35 in the LGIP fund was reviewed and approved unanimous consent. 13. The check list Bank Account - 10/9/2024 – 11/13/2024 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 14. The Balance Sheet for October 2024 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 15. The 2024 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 16. The 2025 Budget was discussed. a. The Board discussed wage increases for full time maintenance to increase 5%, plow drivers with CDL to $21. Motion by B McKee seconded by E Garms carried a 3- 0-0 vote to increase the wages. 17.
