Town Board Meeting — Minutes

TOWN OF LANARK PROCEEDINGS OF THE MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING TUESDAY, JULY 2, 2024 The Lanark Town Board met at the Town Hall on Tuesday, July 2nd at 7:00 p.m. Chairperson Mike Pagel, Supervisor Elmer Garms, Supervisor Bill McKee, Clerk Kim Beaudoin, Treasurer Theresa Maves, employee Jim Williams, Bonnie Skalecke and 3 resident. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson M. Pagel. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. The minutes of the Town Board Meeting of June 3, 2024 were reviewed. Motion by B McKee seconded by E Garms and carried 3-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 2. Public input: 3. There were no building permits, 1 zoning permits and no surveys to be reviewed. 4. There were no county violations and no local violations to be discussed. 5. GCAC Report: John Droske was not present. 6. The Board discussed the purchase of a set of tires for the 1 ton. Tabled until next month when have corrected estimate on tires. 7. The Board discussed the Animal Control Municipal Agreement. Motion by M Pagel seconded by B McKee and carried 3-0-0 to sign and approve the Animal Control Municipal Agreement. 8. The Board discussed and heard the Emergency Managements mitigation plan. M Pagel signed the commitment sheet to do the Emergency Management mitigation plan. 9. The Board discussed the hire of on- call employees. Motion by B McKee seconded by E Garms and carried 3-0-0 to hire on-call employees. 10. The Board discussed the road projects and the Installation of Pipe Road culvert. 11. The June’s 2024 treasurer’s report was reviewed. There was $35,418.43 in checking, $361,521.35 in money market, and $41,301.03 LGIP fund was reviewed and approved unanimous consent. 12. The Check listing by Bank Account – 6/3/2024 – 7/1/2024 was reviewed and approved by - unanimous consent. 13. The Balance Sheet for June 2024 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 14. The 2024 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 15.
