TOWN OF LANARK PROCEEDINGS OF THE MONTLY TOWN BOARD MEETING MONDAY, MARCH 18, 2024 The Lanark Town Board met at the Town Hall on Monday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m. Chairperson Mike Pagel, Supervisor Elmer Garms, Supervisor Bill McKee, Clerk Kim Beaudoin, Treasurer Theresa Maves, employee Jim Williams and 2 residents were present. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson M. Pagel. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. The minutes of the Town Board Meeting of February 12, 2024 were reviewed. Motion by Bill McKee seconded by Elmer Garms and carried 3-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 2. Public input: None 3. There was no building permit, no zoning permits and no surveys to be reviewed. 4. There was no county violations and no local violations to be discussed. 5. GCAC Report: John Droske was not present. 6. The Board discussed the 6-20’ culvert inventory and the hiring of Delmore Consulting to inspect culverts. Motion by Mike Pagel seconded by Elmer Garms and carried a 3-0-0 to approve hiring Delmore Consulting. 7. Road work 2024 discussion of the following projects: a. Boelter lake Subdivision consisting of Boelter Lake Drive (~3855’ x 20’), Boelter Lake Lane (~950’ x 18’) and Boelter Lake Court (!687’ x 18’) b. Pine Tree Drive (~4170’ x 20’) c. Buelow Road between County Roads TT and D (~9300’ x 18’) Motion by Mike Pagel seconded by Elmer Garms and carried a 3-0-0 to approve having contractors bid on projects. 8. The Board discussed the purchase of patrol truck to replace the International, they agreed to the amount of $70,000 to spend on truck. Motion by Bill McKee seconded by Elmer Garms and carried a 3-0-0 vote to purchase a used patrol truck with Jim and a board member making decision. 9. The Board discussed the purchase of sander for 1 Ton Truck to purchase with money from the logging. Motion by Bill McKee seconded by Elmer Garms and carried a 3-0-0 vote to purchase sander and sell the sander we had purchased previously. 10. The February’s 2024 treasurer’s report was reviewed. There was $2,838.10 in checking and $505,997.90 in Money Market was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 11. The Check Listing by Bank Account-2/13/2024- 3/18/2024 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 12. The Balance Sheet for December 2024 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 13. The 2024 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 14.
