Town Board Meeting — Minutes

TOWN OF LANARK PROCEEDINGS OF THE MONTLY TOWN BOARD MEETING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2024 The Lanark Town Board met at the Town Hall on Monday, February 12 at 7:00 p.m. Chairperson Mike Pagel, Supervisor Elmer Garms, Supervisor Bill McKee, Clerk Kim Beaudoin, Treasurer Theresa Maves, employee Jim Williams and residents were present. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson M. Pagel. All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. The minutes of the Town Board Meeting of January 8, 2024 were reviewed. Motion by E. Garms seconded by B. McKee and carried 3-0-0 to approve the minutes as written. 2. Public input: None 3. There was one building permit, 1 zoning permits and no surveys to be reviewed. 4. There was no county violations and no local violations to be discussed. 5. No refuse charge adjustments to discuss. 6. The Board discussed Kim Beaudoin as plan commission secretary. Motion made by B. McKee seconded by E. Garms and carried a 3-0-0 to approved Kim Beaudoin as plan commission secretary. 7. The Board discussed the cell phone booster for shop. Motion made by M. Pagel seconded by B. McKee and carried a 3-0-0 to approve $140 to purchase of a cell phone booster for shop. 8. The Board discussed the purchase of used battery for $20. Motion made by M. Pagel seconded by E. Garms and carried a 3-0-0 to approve purchase of used battery. 9. The Board discussed the purchase of weights for John Deere tractor. Motion made by M. Pagel seconded by E. Garms and carried a 3-0-0 to approve the purchase of John Deere weights for tractor 6 for $125 a piece. 10. GCAC Report: John Droske was not present. 11. The Board discussed the road work for 2024. No action was taken. 12. The January’s 2024 treasurer’s report was reviewed. There was $41,033.98 in checking and $944,514.85 in Money Market was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 13. The 2023 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 14. The Check Listing by Bank Account-1/9/2024- 2/12/2024 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 15. The Balance Sheet for December 2024 was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 16. The 2024 Budget Overview was reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. 17. E. Garms made motion to adjourn by seconded by B.
