City of Fox Lake Council Meeting Minutes Wednesday , June 17 , 202 6 at 6:30 p.m. The regular meeting of the City of Fox Lake Common Council was held on Wednesday, June 17 , 202 6 , at 6:30 p.m., in the council chambers. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tom Bednarek . Followed by the Pledge of Allegiance the roll call was taken with A lderpersons Dan Ault, Marcy Benz, Peter Hartzheim , Joe Horetzki, Dennis Linke and Angela Thomas present. Also attending were City Administrator Kelly Crombie , DPW Superintendent Christopher Thurk , Police Chief Duane Olbinski and City Clerk Jenny Quirk . The clerk certified open meeting laws have been complied with. Approve Minutes: Motion by Hartzheim , seconded by Thomas to approve the minutes of the June 3 , 202 6 council meeting as written . Motion carried with a voice vote. Public comments on agenda items or other matters : Mayor opens the meeting to public comments on agenda items or other matters. No public comments were made. Resolution 12-2026 : Motion by Hartzheim , seconded by Linke to approve resolution 12-2026, a resolution accepting the compliance maintenance annual report CMAR. Motion carried with a voice vote. Picnic Licenses : Motion by Benz , seconded by Thomas Motion to approve the following temporary class B picnic licenses to: The Fox Lake Chamber of Commerce – Fox Lake Concert in the Park on 7/4/2026 at Clausen Park, The Fox Lake Chamber of Commerce – Fox Trot – Reds, Whites and Brews Wine Walk on 7/10/2026 in Downtown Fox Lake businesses, The Fox Lake Community Fire Department – Fox Lake Fire Fighter ’s Annual Car show and Picnic on 7/25/2026 at Firemen ’s Park and The Fox Lake American Legion -Son ’s of the American Legion Summer Fun Event on 8/22/2026 at Firemen ’s Park. Motion carried with a voice vote. R aze order bids 107 West State Street : Council reviewed and discussed the raze order bids that had been received. Motion by Benz, seconded by Thomas to award bid for razing of 107 West State Street to Buchda Excavating . Vote in favor: Benz, Hartzheim, Horetzki, Linke , Thomas and Ault . Motion passed. With no other business to come before the Council, motion by Benz, seconded by Linke to adjourn. Motion carried with a voice vote. Meeting adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
