Special Village Board — Minutes

Theresa Village Board July 30, 2026, 6:30  Attendance: President Steger, Trustees Brandenburg, Billings, Krapfl, Bodden Notable Attendees: Village Dam Expert Chuck Trauba, property owner Ken Postuma    The Meeting was called to order by President Steger, Roll Call of Members Open Meeting Statement – Notice of this meeting was properly posted and published on the Village website on July 23, 2026. The group toured both sides of the dam with Dam Expert and longtime caretaker Chuck Trauba. Although in solid condition the dam could use some maintenance work in the next 12 months or so. By consensus the group approved researching the method and cost for replacing riprap to the dam downstream toe that has been displaced by currents and adding new riprap on the south end of the dam upstream face to divert water away from the shoreline, reduce erosion and help reduce pressure on the dam spillway boards. Motion by Krapfl second by Billings to adjourn at 7:58pm.
