Village Board meeting — Minutes

PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF REESEVILLE August 13, 2026 A duly convened meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Reeseville, Dodge County, Wisconsin, was held in open session on August 13, 2026, and called to order by Village President, James Bublitz, at 6:30pm. The pledge of allegiance was recited. Roll call was taken, and the following Trustees were present, Jessica Becker, Anna Volkova, Cheryl Goodrich and President James Bublitz. Notice of the meeting was given to the public at least 48 hours prior to the meeting by posting the complete agenda at the Reeseville Village Hall, the Reeseville Post Office. Public comment: None A motion to approve the minutes from prior board meeting was made by J. Becker, and seconded by A. Volkova and the motion carried. A motion to approve the Special Board Meeting minutes 6/18/26 by A. Volkova, and seconded by C. Goodrich and the motion carried. A motion to approve the village treasurer report was made by C. Goodrich, and seconded by A. Volkova, motion carried. A motion to approve the village utility report was made by C. Goodrich, and seconded by A. Volkova, motion carried. Engineer Report: Delta3 is contesting changes to sewer number changes. Public Safety Report: Police Report: Reported that car was in need of a few engine light repairs, 55 calls, no major issues past month, National Night Out went well, and the AED needs new batteries and pads. Lifestar report: No report. Library Report: A. Volkova reported that numbers are up and summer reading programs are going well. Administration Report: Clerk-Treasurer Update: Kassie reported that water and sewer bills were finally out. We were having some issues getting the credit card payments connected prior to printing new bills. Still working with auditors. 9b tabled, need to schedule interview prior. 9c tabled. 9d tabled. Infrastructure Report: Utility Report: No report as Ken was unavailable. Health and Human Services: 11a and 11b tabled Parks and Recreation Committee: 12a tabled. RCC was looking to purchase a ice maker, board decided against it. RCC also wanted an updated cooler with glass door, this was tabled. C .Goodrich is requesting copies of all rental aggreements be given to the clerks office with checks for deposit. Lighting at RCC needs to get addressed and doors repaired. J. Bublitz reported that NNO had fairly well turn out. Corn Roast went well, fireworks were very good this year. Planning and Development: No report Future agenda items: Dumpster for large bulk items, schedule Trick-or-treat, set budget meeting A motion to approve paying the bills was made by A. Volkova and seconded by J. Becker, motion carried. A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by C. Goodrich and seconded by J. Becker, motion carried.
