COMMON COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS October 21st, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Special Meeting Mayor Hauser, Presiding Present: Johnson, Mathson, Morris, Sendelbach, Sunday Jay Shambeau of Innovative Public Advisors, via virtual connection Clerk-Treasurer Witte Absent: Solsrud The meeting was called for the specific purpose of interviewing in person a candidate for the position of City Administrator and possible consideration of employment. Council Member Johnson made a motion at 5:02 p.m. to go into Closed Session pursuant to Wisconsin Statue 19.85(1) (c), “Considering employment, promotion, compensation and performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the government body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility…”, specifically, for the purpose of interviewing an applicant for the position of City Administrator. Council Member Mathson seconded, and the motion carried on a roll call vote as follows: Ayes – Johnson, Mathson, Morris, Sendelbach, Sunday Nays – 0 Mayor Hauser brought the meeting back into open session at 6:26 p.m. by unanimous consent. Council Member Sendelbach made a motion to hire Andrew Morelan for the position of City Administrator, pending approval of an employment agreement. Council Member Sunday seconded, and the motion carried on a voice vote as follows.
