CALL TO ORDER 2. ROLL CALL 3. RECITE THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 4. APPROVE THE AGENDA FOR THE MEETING 5. REVIEW AND DISCUSS DEER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM a. Obtain an update from M. Atkinson, Animal Control, regarding the 2025/2026 deer harvest from the approved Deer Management Plan program adopted by the Village Board b. Review the drone survey by the fire department in late 2025 and discuss if any areas should be added to the program for 2026/2027 c. Review, discuss and determine if there should be a harvest goal for each hunting season, either in total or for each approved hunting area d. Review, discuss and affirm if the board desires to make any changes to the current Deer Management Plan, i.e. expand or decrease hunting areas, reduce or remove 75-yard buffer, etc. 6. PUBLIC APPEARANCES (For up to 15 minutes, but no more than three minutes per person.) Pursuant to Section 2-81(6) of the Howard Code, this committee will hear comments of interest from the public for up to 15 minutes and for no more than 3 minutes per person. Any resident wishing to speak regarding any agenda item or to address the committee for any matter at all should come forward at this time. 7. SET NEXT MEETING DATE – Next meeting should be predicated on whether there is a desire to change the Deer Management Plan 8.
