2024 Spring Election Notice

There are two spring elections that may be scheduled in 2024 – Spring Primary (if needed) on February 20th and Spring Election on April 2nd. The following officers are to be elected: A Mayor , for the term of two years, to succeed Anthony Penterman, whose term will expire on April 16, 2024. A City Attorney , for the term of two years, to succeed Kevin Davidson, whose term will expire on April 30, 2024. A Municipal Judge , for the term of four years, to succeed John Van Drunen, whose term will expire on April 16, 2024. An Alderperson , for the term of two years, to succeed Jennie Eggleston, Ald. Dist. No. 1, Wards 1, 2, and 3, whose term will expire on April 16, 2024. An Alderperson , for the term of two years, to succeed John Moore, Ald. Dist. No. 2, Wards 4, 5, and 16, whose term will expire on April 16, 2024. An Alderperson , for the term of two years, to succeed Mary Jo Kilgas, Ald. Dist. No. 3, Wards 6 and 7, whose term will expire on April 16, 2024. An Alderperson , for the term of two years, to succeed Mike Coenen, Ald. Dist. Nomination Papers The first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2023, and the final day for filing nomination papers in the office of the City Clerk is 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
