An amended 2024 Financial Report was presented to the Board for approval. Raddatz moved to approve the amended report, seconded by Reser; motion carried (all aye, no nay). 4. Persons who wish to address the Board. There was discussion about the state of the town roads, and associated maintenance costs, especially in light of recent storm damage. Concern was expressed about the difficulty in plowing, but all recognized that roads were cleared as quickly as possible, given the circumstances. The Town will apply for State aid for storm damage for the snow storm and the ice storm. The condition of town roads was brought up; Chair Knepfel shared repair costs and stated that the town would try to avoid returning some of the dead-end roads back to gravel. Several roads had storm damage, and would be identified during the annual road report May 4. The status of the County Operations Ordinance was reviewed. Reser explained that it is still being discussed at the county level, but if no progress is made, the Town could consider moving forward with a Town Ordinance. Finally, discussion ensued on how to better inform residents of upcoming events. Knepfel explained that postcards were expensive and not particularly effective. Zellmer reported that an improved website was being considered, and that residents should use the website as a main resource for notices, updates, meetings, emergency information, and town business. 5. Adjournment. Supervisor Reser moved to adjourn, seconded by Norm Groshek. (All aye, no nay 10:0.) Meeting adjourned at 6:48. Respectfully submitted by Pat Zellmer, Clerk Discussion or discussion and action may occur on any of the items listed.
