AZTALAN TOWN PLAN COMMISSION MEETING MINUTESAugust 18, 2022 1. Call meeting to order:Chairperson Nicole Millercalled the meeting to order at 7:15pm.Also Present: Merlin Lange, Kathleen Pitzner, Klaas van Zanten, Erik Huth.The meeting was held at Aztalan Town Hall located at W6260 CTH B, Jefferson WI 53549. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Proof of Posting and Notice -The agenda was postedon August 16, 2022 the Town of Aztalan websiteand in the posting boxes located at the Aztalan Town Hall; Ann Street, Lake Mills; and River Hill Dr,Johnson Creek. 4. Approval of Minutes - April 11, 2022 -Merlin Langemoved, Erik Huth seconded the motion to approvethe April 11, 2022 minutes. Motion carried. 5. Public comments on agenda items (limited to 3 minutes per person) 6. Businessa. Discussion and possible action on the request by Aztalan Cycle Club Inc. to rezone 32.383 acresfrom A-1 to A-2 in order to allow for a conditional use for a recreational facility (outdoormotorcycle riding/racing) directly related to open space uses and the necessity for a rurallocation at N6641/N6643 Gomoll Rd, PIN 002-0714-0831-000.Nicole Miller moved, Erik Huth seconded the motion to recommend approval to the AztalanTown Board. Motion carried b. Discussion and possible action on the request by Aztalan Cycle Club Inc. for conditional use toallow for a recreational facility (outdoor motorcycle riding/racing) directly related to open spaceuses & the necessity for rural location in a proposed A-2 zone at N6641/N6643 Gomoll Rd.Nicole Miller moved, Erik Huth seconded to move to a meeting when a representative can bepresent. Motion carried. c. Discussion and possible action on the request by Lindsey Heideman-Kjendlie for a conditionaluse to allow a kennel for up to 40 dogs to include daycare and boarding. The site is at N4936Popp Road on parcel #002-0714-3433-000. The property is owned by Harvey & Barbara Simdon.Nicole Miller moved, Klaas van Zanten seconded to move to a meeting where a representativefrom both parties listed can be present. Motion carried. 7.
