NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Zoning Map Amendment and Conditional Use Permit for Commercial Indoor Lodging at 3075 Deming Way Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. City of Middleton Plan Commission City Hall Council Chambers 7426 Hubbard Avenue Middleton, WI 53562 Abraham Rabinowitz, on behalf of the Madison VA Hospital, is requesting a zoning map amendment to allow “Commercial Indoor Lodging” as a Conditional Use in the Airport Road Business Park General Implementation Plan (GIP) for 3075 Deming Way. The proposed amendment is only for the lot listed below. Additionally, the applicant is seeking a conditional use permit for “Commercial Indoor Lodging”. Description of property to which the application pertains: Lot 46, Airport Road Business Park First Addition, recorded in the Dane County Register of Deeds Office in Volume 58-028B of Plates, Pages 153 through 155 as Document No. 3744357, Located in part of the Southwest ¼ of the Southwest ¼ of Section 2, T7N, R8E, City of Middleton, Dane County, Wisconsin. Together with Affidavit of Correction as recorded per Document No. 3802563. Parcel No. 255/0708-023-4516-2 During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak (for up to three minutes) or to register their opinion. Written statements that are provided to City staff by 1:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing will be added to the online meeting packet. The Plan Commission may take action following the hearing.
