Minutes Town of New Hope Regular Board Meeting 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2025 North New Hope Church, 845 County Road T North, Amherst Junction WI Members Present: Chair Todd Knepfel, Supervisors Timm Raddatz and Ray Reser Also Present: Treasurer Dorene Stolpa, Clerk Pat Zellmer 1. Call to order the Regular Board Meeting for December. The December Regular Board Meeting was called to order by Chair Knepfel at 6:08 pm. 2. Review/Approval of Minutes: a. Minutes from the four meetings listed below were emailed to the Board and posted as drafts on the Town Website prior to the meeting. i. Regular Board Meeting minutes from November 19, 2025; ii. Special Meeting of Town Electors; iii. 2026 Budget Meeting; iv. Public Hearing on Budget and Budget Summary Supervisor Raddatz made a motion to accept all four documents as written, seconded by Supervisor Reser. Motion passed: 3-0-0. 3. Persons who wish to address the Board. Noone appeared before the Board. 4. Town Hall. Further discussion will be postponed until the February 2026 Regular Board meeting. 5. Road Improvement Report. Swenson will brush north Sunset Road, including branches overhanging the road. A limit of $30,000 was set by the Board for this project. 6. Elections. a. The Democrats had no Poll Workers for 2026. b. Public Test for a potential primary in February is set for Monday, February 9 at 1:00 (North New Hope Church). Public Notice will be published by the County Clerk. 7. New Business and Announcements. a. A new program for recycling batteries will be implemented by Portage County Solid Waste. Details to be published on the Town Website when available. 8. Payment of Bills. Raddatz moved to pay the December bills totaling $15,755.65, seconded by Reser. Motion carried 3-0-0. 9. Set dates: a. 2025 Annual Audit: Monday, January 5 at 6:00 pm, North New Hope Church. b. Next Board Meeting: Thursday, January 22, 6:00pm, at North New Hope Church. 10. Adjournment. Raddatz moved to adjourn at 7:07pm, seconded by Reser. Motion carried, 3-0-0.
